Look What You Can Do When the Footy's On!

Mom in Laws Birthday Present

Two nights of football on tv so Mr Jojo was kept amused, so was I, at the sewing machine. Before we went away I had cut out lots of things I wanted to try so with a couple of hours to spare I decided to tackle them. I was quite pleased with the outcome, hope you like them too.

I wanted to try putting a zip in a bag so thought this make up bag made out of Cath Kidston fabric would be a good one to start with. I was quite surprised how easy it went together, perhaps this was beginners luck!

Next was a fabric rose. I used a scrap of polka dot material and can't believe how much it looks like a rose! Quite good for me.

Cupcake sleeping mask. I can count cakes instead of sheep!

I bought some strawberry essential oil of ebay and decided to make this to use it on. I have had it on table in the kitchen all day today and it smelt gorgeous. Good enough to eat.

I think this bag looks very summery, it's lined with a blue green polka dot. Even Sophie like this!

I feel much better now that all the bits I had cut out are sewn up. Now I need to make a few items for my Folksy shop. Perhaps I'll get round to this when the cup final is on tv!

Luckily none of my 'boys' like football! But they always find something to gang up and watch. Love the bag!

Newquay? We only ever got as far as Weymouth lol!
How strange, most of my dolls came from my Nans next door neighbour too and a few from my Nan herself.
Have a great weekend.

Goegeous rose... lovely bag. I like the curvy topped bag too. A very productive time you had with the footie on!
