Another Day Of Packing!!

Tomorrow is the day I think I have been dreading, we take Jack to drop him off to Uni and then there will be only John and myself at home. How do you cook for just two? What do you talk about when the kids have gone? I'm sure we'll both get used to it but it will take a while.

Last night I went through my stash and found some brown and cream suede material, Jack's bed linen is brown and cream and I wanted to have a few cushion to match, (I looked in town but they were too girly). I decided to try a Union Jack design like I did for Soph. I was quite pleased with the result, think Jack liked it too but lads never say much when you ask them do they!

Well off to pack his food up now, can't have him going hungry can we!

In our experience, children don't go away for long. Apart from holidays, they tend to return home at weekends when they want some washing doing or more to the point need money!

The cushions look great;Jack will be the envy of everyone in his dormitory.

My two are back and forth quicker than a yo yo!!!!! That cushion is deffinetly "boyey" rather than "girly". (Don't think that's a word but you get my drift, ha ha) thanks for visiting my blog. Lucey x

It's really strange not having them at home isn't it? I keepcooking for four but there are only 3 of us now.
She is coming home today for the weekend so I've baked some muffins to celebrate!

my little girl is only three, but already I'm not looking forward to this scenario!

Love your cushions. The blokified one is a total triumph (to slyly quote Kevin McCloud!)

:O)

Cool cushion! Hope you don't miss your son too much, I'm sure he'll be home with all his clothes for you to wash. :D

I remember my Dad in tears when I got married and moved out. Now we only live 15 mins walk away.
