Got back Wednesday afternoon from a week in Spain, this time we managed to relax a while as we did most of the jobs on the Villa the last time we were there. It was a good job as it was so hot, and is only going to get warmer over there, I don't know how they motivate themselves to go to work, all I wanted to do was sit (well maybe lie down) in the shade. When I was younger I could sit and sun bathe all day but now I get too hot and bothered.
I couldn't believe how much the garden had grown when we got back, beans in flower, bunches of grapes, sweet peas, and the grass was nearly 6 inches tall. It must have been all the rain you had.
I was also lucky enough to have had a sale in my Folksy shop whilst I was away, this is the first one for a while but I hope it's a sign of things to come.
Off to do the ironing now, at least the rain has cooled it down a little.

Hi Jo,
Thanks for visiting my blog, I'm sure we will be visiting the SVR again, knowing what railway obsessives the men of the house are! I know what you mean about not liking the heat quite so much as you get older (and I didn't think I was that old yet, yikes!) Well done on the Folksy sale, I do think times are hard at the moment and people are not spending so much on "non-essential" albeit wonderful, lovely items.
Hen x
