The nice weather we have been having the last few days has made me get outside and do a spot of tidying up in the garden. Whilst out there I noticed this hole had been dug in our lawn (moss & a little grass). Does anyone know who is responsible for it? There was no soil left around the edges so where as it all gone. My husband says it could be rats but you can't see any signs of them in the garden. Kept watch all day yesterday but didn't see anything going in or out.

Could it be foxes? I did some gardening at a school for our firm's action day and they said the the holes in the garden were made by foxes.
Let me know when you find out.
